Christian Education

We have a children's moment each week during the worship service focused toward  pre-school and early elementary ages.  We offer Christian education for all age groups during the school year and modified classes for the youth during the summer. 

 

Special Sunday School Projects
Operation Christmas Child - The Sunday School Youth classes will participate in the Christmas Child Project again this year.  Students are encouraged to fill a shoe box with surprises to be sent to a needy child somewhere around the world.  Filled boxes are due at Church by Sunday, November 16, 2008.

Salvation Army Shoe Program - The Sunday school offering collection during the 2008-09 school year is going to support the Salvation Army's Shoe program.  Families in need of new shoes can contact the agency to receive a voucher for shoes.  The Salvation Army works closely with Norwalk Public and Parochial Schools to provide this service.

Adult Class - 9:30 a.m. Sundays

October 26 - Chris Canfield -Faith Lessons on the Early Church

Children & Youth
Wee Worship (ages 3, 4 and Pre-K 5's)  - These children meet during the 10:45 a.m. worship.  If your child is 3 or 4 years old by September 30th or is 5 and not going to kindergarten, he or she is welcome to join the class.  Children attend worship with their family in the sanctuary and following the Children's Sermon, the children are dismissed to class where they will enjoy songs, bible stories,   crafts and story DVD's.


Children and Worship (Kindergarten - 2nd grade) - In this class, children gain the tools to help them worship with the congregation when they are older.  Students will attend 10:45 worship with their families.  Following the children's message, the students will leave for their worship center where they will experience the biblical stores of God and God's people.

 

Rush Hour .5 -  This is an afternoon program for children 3-5th grade.  We meet weekly from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.  Students interact with recreation, bible lessons and enjoy pizza for dinner.
