The First Presbyterian Church is excited to announce a new opportunity for worship. We will be broadcasting highlights of the previous week’s worship service on Sundays at 8:30 AM on WLKR Classic, 92.9 FM.
As our congregation resumes in-person worship on June 21, we recognize that many may not feel comfortable joining us in the sanctuary for a variety of reasons. As a result, we will continue to offer online options via our YouTube channel, our Facebook page, and our website. Nonetheless, there are some members of our congregation and folks in the greater community who do not have access to the internet. To connect with them, we will be going on the radio.
Our weekly radio show will be only 30 minutes long with Scripture, prayers, and a sermon. We hope also to include special music and other features of interest. Officially, we will premiere our first service on July 5, 2020, but if you tune in on June 28 at 8:30 AM, you will hear us take the broadcast for a test drive.
If you know anyone without access to the internet or just loves the radio, please let them know that they can join us each Sunday on WLKR, 92.9 FM and 1510 AM, as we share the love of Jesus Christ. See you on the radio!
