FPC Returns to Belize February, 2023

Updated: Nov 22, 2022

Norwalk Presbyterian Church is returning to Central America in February, 2023, and we would love for you to be there. We are partnering with our friends in Belize to work on three projects:

  1. To build an elderly care facility in the Valley of Peace.

  2. To provide a free clinic for the people of the Valley of Peace.

  3. To develop a library in one of the local schools.

Norwalk Presbyterian Church will be working with our friends in Answering the Call Together and The Word at Work.

Space is limited. Please fill out the application at this link.

Just curious? Send us an email. We will be glad to discuss it with you.

The Word at Work has been working in Belize for decades connecting partners and churches. They have cultivated relationships and understand what it means to do ministry in a way that honors God. Their desire is to empower our congregation to come alongside our friends to participate in God's ministry.

Answering the Call Together (ACT) has years of experience sending skilled and unskilled construction teams locally, nationally, and internationally. ACT will be providing contractors to guide and lead our building efforts.

Short-term mission trips are less about the work being done (as important as that is) and more about encountering God's kingdom in action. God is already at work in Belize. We just get the opportunity to be a part of it.

In 2019, Abby Keefer took a short-term mission trip in partnership with FPC Norwalk, ACT, and the Word at Work. Listen to her challenge for all of us to experience the presence of God.
