A greenhouse is a building designed for the protection of tender or out-of-season plants. When a greenhouse plant is strong enough, it is often replanted outdoors. In 2022 and 2023, we will be creating a ministry greenhouse. Over the course of the program year, we will gather to explore new ideas for ministry. We will take steps to nurture those ideas to maturity. Everyone is invited, especially our elders and deacons.

This year we will be reading some books along with some selected articles. The focus is entirely practical. How do we as a congregation better live out our calling? We will be meeting at 6:30 pm on the following Thursdays:

  • January 19, 2023

  • March 16, 2023

  • April 20, 2023

  • May 18, 2023

The books we will be reading this year are

For our first meeting, we will be considering Sailboat Church by Joan Gray. Our conversation will assume some familiarity with the book. If you need a copy, please let Pastor James know. If time is getting away from you, you can always check out this article by Joan Gray on the same theme.
