This year of coronavirus and lockdowns has led the First Presbyterian Church to start some new programs and ministries. Our first priority has been to involve the congregation in worship even if people cannot attend our in-person services.
We now livestream our services via our YouTube channel at 8:30 AM on Sundays. Later we post those services on our Facebook feed and our website. This summer we have also begun "Rooted, Growing, & Loving," a half-hour radio program of "highlights" on Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM on WLKR Classic, 92.9 FM. Dawson Strong has been an invaluable part of this ministry, editing and announcing our radio program.
In order to share give "Rooted, Growing, & Loving" a broader audience, First Presbyterian Church is now producing podcasts. Search for "Norwalk Presbyterian" wherever you listen to your podcasts. You should be able to subscribe and follow us. If you have any difficulties, please feel free to contact us.
In the coming months, you may see other opportunities to expand our offerings via podcasts including bible studies and interviews. It's an exciting time for our church.
